Our policies

What to expect before you book, in plain words.

Booking and deposits

Book online at any hour, or call and ask for someone who speaks your language. The first-visit facial, the surface peel and the longer facials take a deposit to hold your time; it goes toward your service. We confirm by text, email or phone, whichever you choose.

Canceling and running late

Please give 24 hours' notice to cancel or move a visit. Arriving late may shorten your visit, because the time after yours is held for someone else.

If you miss an appointment

If you miss a visit without telling us, the deposit is kept. We're glad to rebook you, and we'll ask for a deposit again on the next visit.

Children and companions

A client under 18 comes with a parent or guardian, who signs the booking and stays for the consultation. A family member is welcome to sit in on your consultation, to help with language or just to listen. During the facial, they wait in the front room.

Patch tests and allergies

Your esthetician tries a new product on a small area first, and always before a peel. Tell us about sensitivities and allergies when you book, on the booking page. If your skin reacts to anything, tell us and we'll change the plan.

If you're not happy

If you're not happy with a visit, tell us within a few days and we'll make it right. Your esthetician will go over what happened and adjust the plan for next time.

Tipping

Tips are welcome and never expected. You can add one when you pay, in the studio or on the booking page.

Before your visit

When you book, your esthetician tells you what to pause beforehand, such as exfoliating products, and what to bring. The booking page's intake form asks the rest. Come with your skin as it is, and tell us if you've had sun, a shave or a new product in the past few days.

When to ask your doctor first

If you are pregnant or might be, use a prescription skin medicine or have a skin condition a doctor is managing, ask your doctor before you book a peel or LED light. Tell us when you book so we can plan the visit around it.
